Completed the Ph.D on the topic entitled” “Induction of genetic variation in Lablab purpureus (L) Sweet (Dolichos bean) through Gamma radiation and Ethyl methanesulphonate.” from SPPU.

        2.Vidya Patankar

“Investigation of soil fungi from Khandesh region, Maharashtra” sanctioned under UGC XI plan Research Award, from 2006-2007. Under the guidance of Dr. G. M. Rane. Department of Botany, M. J. College, Jalgaon.

Ph.D. work on wood anatomy of different plants is showing abnormal secondary growth, types, structure and development.

UGC funded project entitled “Pattern of wood formation in some tropical woody climbers” under supervision of Dr. Kishore S. Rajput. Department of Botany, M. S. University of Baroda.

The postdoctoral research topic is “Comparative study of Morpho-anatomy, preliminary phytochemical analysis and secondary metabolites of some medicinally important plants and its adulterants.’’ From 2014-2017.

Recently working on the isolation and characterization of secondary metabolites for their various biological activities especially focusing on anticancer and antidiabetic activities. We are working on invitro and invivo studies on cancer cell lines and animal models and also study on antidiabetic activities invivo study on mice model in collaboration with pharmacy College.
